オールディー・マニアクス
気質というか、職業柄というか…
ハードの古機材というのが好きで、昔のシンセやらラックものとか見入ってしまう。
中古楽器屋とか、とにかく見聴きして飽きない。
いやそんなスタジオ・フレンドリーなヤツだけじゃなく、
フリマで売ってる古いカシオトーンとか、
おもちゃの鍵盤もどきみたいのにマイク付いてるのとか、
ボタン押すと昔のへっぽこなドラムが鳴るヤツとか。
音を通したらどうなるんだろうとか、
なんだこのつまみはとか、うわヤバいこれ超ローファイだとか、
マイクは外身と値段見て「げー」とかなったり、
あとスペックとか見て色々妄想する。
「そんな穴とか紐とかツマミのなにが面白いのか？」と、
このあいだ友人に言われた。
そのとおりなのでなにも言い返せないんですが…
でも自分の思う理想の音がそこから出てくるんじゃないかと、
考えると今でもドキドキする。
ソフトウェアにはない、個性丸出しの黒い箱たち。
文字通りの肌触り。
そんなことをヤフオク見ながら考えてた。おーS950出てる。
