Digital Music Awards 2004
Digital Music Awardsは、British Telecommunications（主にブロードバンド・プロバイダー事業を行なうUKの会社）が主催する、デジタル・コンテンツを音楽的に上手く活用したアーティストやサービスに賞を与える式典。
あまり知られていないと思っていたので、そんな賞もらってもどうなの？ という疑問を持っていたが、Best Radio Station Onlineを受賞したVirgin Radioのサイトを見てみるとNEWSページに「今年もやりました！ 皆さんありがとう」なんてことが書いてある。何気にスポンサー陣を見てみるとHMVやLAUNCH Music on Yahoo!とか結構しっかりしているので、UKでは盛り上がっているのだろうか。
今年で3年目となるDigital Music Awardsだが、いずれにせよ時代が呼んだ式典で今後更に重要度を増して注目されていくはず。
